MEET KATHRYN

I advise executives and organizations on PR, brand narrative, and how they show up in high-visibility moments.

After more than twenty years in corporate leadership roles across sales, marketing, and communications, my work focuses on helping companies translate complex ideas into clear, credible narratives that resonate across media, partners, and stakeholders.

Through The C Group, I work across PR strategy, executive communications, and brand positioning. This includes shaping media narratives, preparing leadership for high-stakes interviews and public-facing moments, and ensuring messaging is aligned across internal teams and external channels.

I also develop strategic partnerships and curated brand experiences that extend how companies show up beyond traditional media. This includes bringing brands into environments where they are not typically present and creating moments that feel aligned, intentional, and relevant to the audience.

My background spans consumer brands, technology, and high-growth environments, with experience leading integrated communications and PR initiatives that drive visibility, credibility, and business impact.

Presence

The Currency of Modern Leadership

Presence is determined in the moments when pressure enters the room. When decisions carry weight, conversations become uncertain, and outcomes are no longer guaranteed. Presence: The Modern Workplace Currency explores what actually happens in those moments and why two equally capable leaders can respond in completely different ways. Drawing on more than two decades of experience in corporate leadership, Ficarra breaks down how internal patterns, beliefs, and perception shape how leaders think, communicate, and make decisions under pressure. The result isn’t just different behavior. It’s different outcomes. This is not a book about becoming a better speaker or adopting new leadership tactics. It’s about understanding the internal systems that drive performance when it matters most. Through a practical and relatable framework, the book introduces a new way to think about leadership presence. One that moves beyond surface level skills and into clarity, stability, and conviction. Because in today’s workplace, presence isn’t a personality trait. It’s the currency everything else depends on. Available on Amazon
